If you are a new acoustic guitar player, or have played for years, there comes a time in which you want to be able to get up and play. That is, if an acoustic guitar strap is a must. A problem arises when at times to put a strap on an acoustic guitar - can not be connected with a button to get to the front heel. The heel is the "neck joint", or the part that closes the neck to the body.

If you install with the first option, though, and decide on a key directly in the heel band, which is quite easy. You need to drill a small hole in the heel. The idea of drilling as a whole are a couple of guitars, the owner of nervousness. If you are careful, however, there should be no problem. Make sure that the selection of a drillslightly smaller than the screw on the button that you use, so it fits snuggly and does not loosen over time.
For the placement, you can probably use your common sense. Or contact a couple of other guitars in your local guitar shop for ideas, this is not rocket science, but certainly want to practice once.
If one with the second option, you have the full range of guitar straps available. Almost every band, whether it is an electric guitar strap, a leather bracelet,or vintage, it really makes no difference.
